I ABSOLUTELY love the colors of this collection. They perfectly remind me of Summer. The color mixes, and the design of the clothes are absolutely amazing, fresh, classy and modern. I love Oscar de la Renta.

Random things happening #1

Went to see Diana last night with my boyfriend! I'm in love. Naomi represented it perfectly, and, even though she's not that look a like with Diana, I can say that I've seen Diana in the major part of the movie. Princess Diana is a really inspiration for me, she was so graceful, and had such a pure heart. What a wonderful woman she was.

Definitely on my top 5 favorite movies!

Fui ver o filme "Diana" ontem á noite com o meu namorado! Estou apaixonada. A Naomi respresenta este papel perfeitamente, e, apesar de não serem assim tão parecidas, posso dizer que consegui ver a Princesa Diana na maior parte do filme. A Princesa Diana é uma enorme inspiração para mim, pela maneira como era, e por ter um coração do tamanho do Mundo. Foi uma mulher incrivel.
Definitivamente no meu top de 5 filmes favoritos!

FASHION -My Favorite Fashion Designers - VERSACE

Founded on 1978 by Gianni Versace (he was killed by a spree killer). Versace is now one of the leading fashion houses worldwide, counting with Donatella Versace, the little sister of Gianni as Artistic Director. Besides clothes, Versace has lines of perfums and make up too. I personally like Versace because of their irreverent clothes, but still classic and elegant.

FASHION - Trends #2 : HOLOGRAM/HOLOGRAPHIC PATTERN

Started on 2013, and probably questionable in terms of working or not at first sight, this hologram trend is here to stay. Many famous used clutches, shoes and dresses on red carpets, shows and Awards Ceremonies. You can find this pattern almost in everything - shoes, clothes, accessories, phone cases, earphones, nailpolish... You decide where do you want to put it! Personally, I'd love to have a pair of holographic sandals on my closet.

Começada em 2013, e provavelmente questionável se funciona ou não olhando á primeira vista, esta hologram trend veio para ficar. Imensos famosos tem usado clutches, sapatos e vestidos em red carpets, espectaculos e ceremónias de entrega de prémios. Podes encontrar esta trend em quase tudo - sapatos, roupa, acessórios, capas de telemóvel phones, vernizes... Tu decides onde é que queres que ele esteja! Pessoalmente, adorava ter um par destas holographic sandals no meu closet.

FASHION - What to Wear #1 - ACID WASH DENIM

Acid Wash: USE AND ABUSE!

This trend make us turn back to the 90's all over again and listen to our parents telling us "I used that jeans a hundred times, they were so in!", "I had a lot of jackets like this." or "I can't believe you're wearing that, that's what I used when I was your age!". Well, the acid wash has been improved since the 90's, they exist now in many colors (black, red and purple, for example) in many formats and models, so you can always find a model that your parents didn't use in any store like Topshop or H&M. Or, if you enjoy recycling clothes from you mum, dad, grandma, friends or find real treasures in second hand stores, I'm sure you'll find thousands and thousand of things with this pattern!

Esta trend faz-nos voltar aos anos 90 e ouvir os nossos pais dizer "Usei essas calças imensas vezes, estavam tão na moda!", "Tinha imensos casacos assim" ou "Não acredito que estás a usar isso, era o que eu usava quando tinha a tua idade!" Bom, o acid wash tem sido melhorado ao longo dos anos e agora existe em imensas cores (preto, vermelho e roxo, por exemplo) em imensos formatos e modelos, por isso podes sempre encontrar um modelos que os teus pais não usaram em lojas como

a Topshop ou a  H&M. Ou, se gostas de reciclar roupa do armário da tua mãe, pai, avó ou encontrar tesouros em lojas de segunda mão, tenho a certeza que vais encontrar mil e uma coisas assim!

FASHION - Collections I Specially Like #2 - FATIMA LOPES SS2103

Fatima Lopes, said that this collection was inspired by the Isle of Madeira, where she was born, retracting all the ambiance of it and the flowers. She grew up there, so she inspired herself in her youth there too. I think it's a great collection, and I'm happy to know that we have AMAZING Fashion Designers in Portugal. She's my favorite Fashion Designer, an inspiration for the clothes I draw.

Falando acerca desta colecção, a Fátima Lopes diz que é inspirada na Ilha da Madeira, onde nasceu, retratando o ambiente e focando-se principalmente nas flores da Ilha. Como cresceu lá, inspirou-se também na sua juventude. Eu acho-a uma criadora genial, adoro esta colecção e fico contente por saber que em       Portugal temos criadores FANTÁSTICOS. Fátima Lopes é sem dúvida a minha criadora portuguesa preferida e uma inspiração,  ao lado do também português Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

I think she doesn't needs introductions or explanations. She's amazing, and she inspires me not only as a person, but in the clothes I design with her mysterious way to live, always leaving people wondering what is behind all that poses and what is coming next. For me, that's a synonym of a real and truly artist.

Acho que não precisas de introduções ou explicações. Ela é incrivel e inspira-me não só como pessoa, mas nas roupas que crio com a vida misteriosa que ela leva, deixando sempre as pessoas tentando adivinhar ou perceber o que é que está por trás daquelas poses e o que é que pode vir a seguir. Para mim isso é um sinal de uma verdadeira artista.

TRAVEL - I Travelled to ... #1 - PARIS

PARIS

Paris. For ones, the city of love. For others, the city of fashion and haute couture. For me, both. It's such a perfect city! I loved everything of it. The monuments, the people, the metro, the coffeehouses, the smell of it, the streets and all the fashion and casual ambient that surrounds it. I would love to live there! I traveled to Paris on January of 2013, and I can't wait to come back! Actually, I'm already planning a long weekend there with my boyfriend. I can't wait.

Paris. Paris uns a cidade do amor. Para outros, a cidade da Moda e da Alta Costura. Para mim, as duas. É uma cidade tão perfeita! Adoro tudo. Os monumentos, as pessoas, o metro, os cafés, o próprio cheiro da cidade, as ruas, e o ambiente casual que circunda Paris. Adoraria viver lá! Estive em Paris em Janeiro de 2013 e mal posso esperar para voltar! Estou a planear um fim-de-semana prolongado com o meu namorado lá, can't wait.
